the vo seems to be saying that last time when he went to stamping he filled his client details like where he working and which was az at that time and this VO was saying now you are working in NJ ,the confusion seems to becaused by the clinet letter in which his manager wrote that he directly reports to him as consultant,VO is assuming that he working here without preoper documents,atleast that what i understood:confused:.

If you look at few months back, when supporters of illegal immigrantion did the rally, they wanted CIR to be passed.
1) Is there a bill in congress, that we are supporting? If so, please share the details.
2) Are we proposing a new bill? If so, is it not wise to propose a bill ASAP before rally? Law-makers are going to ask, what do you guyz want? Are there any benchmarks for rally? Having a solution (a bill) in hand will help to represent and to join more people for rally.
Law-makers may not understand, if we just say, expedite our GC applications. They understand bills.
As mentioned before, I have good faith in IV & attending rally. So, people dont drag around it.

Look at my signature, my case is very similar to yours, (PD Nov 2002). I guess DOL has messed up few cases during that time (Dallas). My labor application was also closed in 2005 due to non response. I had found out by sending an email to the BEC and they had replied with a screen shot.
How did it get resolved - Everything has to be done by your lawyers, they have to send the proof of reply for 45 day letter ( Fedex / ups etc dated back then) only then DOL will reopen you case, once they reopen a desicion will be made very soon. Work with you lawyer OR your company , he / she is the only person who can get you back on track. I guess is your lawyer has messed up for sure, try your company represenative to help you in this matter, because they are the only people who can talk to DOL

I checked my case status in July 07 and it displayed case closed. I called my lawyer and basically the response I got was she did not respond in time to a rescruitment instructions report sent by DOL in March 07 and hence the case was closed. My company has been supportive through this process and its only my lawyer whose been horrible.

US born citizens cannot deported. But naturalized citizen can be deported, if he obtained immigration (GC) by frudalent means (false documents, sham marriage, by cheating.. etc).
Citizens of US cannot be deported. That is the LAW... But if that guy had a Green Card or any other visa, then he can be deported...

How reliable is this Tracker(or any) data? I don't think all the registered people who gets their GC would come back and change the status of their application to 'Approved' in the Tracker. Though its better than nothing but still data is too vague to derive any real conclusion.

There might be some accidental drops of ripe mangoes which get lost for a while :) Just my analogy of EB immigration .

I did my three years diploma (polytechnic) and three years engineering degree (B.E.) after that and I had @ eight years of experience while I had applied for GC through EB2 category. I had no problem in getting my I-140 approval; so far I have not received single rfe.

Fortunately, MA is still unaffected by the xenophobic policies regarding Driver's Licenses that are prevalent in other states. You can renew your license online, and the length or the nature of the validity of your immigration status has no influence on the type or duration of the driver's license. How long this will stay like this in MA is anybody's guess. I am sure they will also become restrictive when pressure is brought on by REAL ID regulations.

I need expert advice -
My I-140 has been approved and I-485 pending for more than 18 months. I have a valid EAD & AP. I also have a valid H1-B visa valid till 2011,
that I am using for my current employment with my current employer
1. If I get laid-off, how long can I stay in US without another job?
With EAD you are okay.
2. I understand that in order to maintain my eligibility to "port" to a new employer / sponsor under AC21, I should have another job in same or similar occupation. Till I find another job, am I allowed to do some part-time job in different occupation?
Answer :- I don't think so. If you are doing a part time job and if USCIS comes to know because of 1099 you may have a problem. I don't think you will have a problem if you accept cash and a evidence you never worked but helped your friend.
3. If new employer gives me the option to move permanently to its subsidiary in another country, what are the available option for me to continue with green card processing?
Answer :- AP is used for emergency. I don't know much but one of IV members went to india and was working for his employer from india.
4. If after going out of the country , I want to come back in future before Green card approval, what will be the available options?
Answer :- Keep renewing your AP and you need to be present in US when AP is been renewed. I am not sure of it. Sorry.
